Learn about shop safety, techniques for lighting and maintaining a coal fire, hammer control, drawing out, scrolling, fullering, half face blows and riveting as you complete your project. Hot punching, hot cutting, and forge welding will also be covered.
For ages 16 & up only. Students should bring safety glasses, cotton gardening or leather work gloves. Dress warm with all natural fibers, if possible, especially against the skin. All other tools provided.

Cancellation policy: All materials must be pre-purchased by the instructor, therefore cancellations can only be refunded prior to February 11 (sales-end date). Refunds requested before that time will be issued, less a $20 non-refundable processing fee. We reserve the right to cancel a class due to insufficient registration. In that case, students can me another choice or receive a full refund. A letter confirming your registration will be mailed or e-mailed.
