When was the last time you crafted something–made a piece you were truly proud of with your own hands? One thing visitors notice when they visit the museum is the pride our craftspeople and tradespeople take in the work they do. They are eager to share this knowledge with you and, through classes at Landis Valley, you get the chance to learn from some of the best.
Whether it’s learning pottery techniques; wool, cloth, and straw crafts; or metal, leather, and wood trades; there are plenty of opportunities to discover a skill meant for your own hands. You can also take your gardening abilities to the next level with classes run by our Heirloom Seed Project or add depth to your cooking by taking a class in our Tavern.
It’s all here at Landis Valley.
