Class Description
Learn to make adorable decorations with a needle, cushion, and some felt. Your project will be a needle felted pumpkin. All materials are provided, including a foam felting pad and two felting needles.
No experience necessary; local fiber artist and instructor Lisa Haldeman will walk you through this fun and easy craft step by step! The class will be 2-3 hours long. Additional felting kits will be available to purchase after class. As needles are very sharp, this class is limited to participants ages 12 and up. Please note that class size is limited.
Bio:
Lisa Haldeman is a local, self-taught fiber and polymer clay artist whose miniature dolls and whimsical wool creations have been displayed and sold at craft shows, galleries, and online stores for 15 years. She has taught classes at SPLAT Studio in Annville, Hope at Hand Ministry (various locations) and at Landis Valley. Register online or download our registration form and return with payment. Cancellation Policy: All materials must be pre-purchased by the instructor; therefore, cancellations can only be refunded prior to sales-end date (September 23). If you registered online through Brown Paper Tickets, you may request a refund through them up to 12 hours after purchase. After that grace period and before the sales-end date, refunds will be issued via a paper check from the Landis Valley Associates, less a $20 non-refundable processing fee. Please contact landisvalley@gmail.com or 717-569-0401 to request your refund. We reserve the right to cancel a class due to insufficient registration. In that case, students can use funds already spent towards the cost of another class or receive a full refund.
