Intructor: Patti Erickson
Class Information
Learn the art of folding German paper stars, or “Froebel” stars. The Froebel Star was invented by the German educationist Friedrich Forebel, the founder of the modern Kindergarten concept around the 1850’s. He encouraged the use of paper folding in pre-primary education with the aim of conveying simple mathematical concepts to children. In this class, you will learn to fold a German Star and take home several stars at the end of the class.
