Landis Valley Village & Farm Museum is a wonderful place to bring family and friends. It is rated a “GEM” by AAA, received the Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor for multiple years, and is consistently ranked #2 Museum/Heritage Site in Lancaster County Magazine’s “Best of Lancaster” Reader’s Survey.
Whether you come for the animals, to learn about early Pennsylvania German life, or to stroll the grounds and get an up-close look at the largest collection of Pennsylvania German artifacts in the United States, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
We also offer a full calendar of events, well suited to many different tastes, and many of them are free for Landis Valley Associates Members.
If you are visiting other places nearby, please allow at least two to three hours for your tour of Landis Valley. Although you can take a quick superficial tour in an hour or so, you would miss the fascinating historical items housed in the barns and collections building and you would not have time to learn from our volunteers about the amazing nuances of life in early Pennsylvania.
The Landis Valley Museum Store offers snacks and drinks and there are restrooms throughout the site. Relax, enjoy and learn!
