Our largest wedding space seats up to 225 guests. This option works well for couples looking for a barn wedding venue in Lancaster, PA with indoor reception space, courtyard access, and historic character. - The Firehouse
The Firehouse seats up to 100 guests and works well for smaller receptions, ceremonies, or additional event space. It can also be added to a Yellow Barn rental for couples who want extra flexibility. - Historic Landis Valley House Hotel
The Historic Landis Valley House Hotel seats up to 40 guests and offers an intimate setting inside a historic 1860s building. This space is ideal for smaller weddings, private dinners, or couples who want a more personal gathering.

Wedding Rental FAQs
What is Required to Rent the Space?
Once you choose a date, we will issue a contract. A payment of 25% of the total rental and a $500 security deposit are due at signing.
What Happens if There is Bad Weather?
Ceremonies and receptions can be planned inside the rental space, with guests seated at their assigned tables. For Yellow Barn weddings, the Firehouse may be rented as an additional rain-plan option and can accommodate up to 180 guests for ceremony seating.
Can We Choose Our Own Caterer?
Yes. Landis Valley is an open vendor wedding venue, so you may use the caterer of your choice. New caterers are required to schedule an appointment to view the site and provide a certificate of insurance.
When Can the Wedding Party Set Up or Rehearse?
If there is no other event taking place the day before your wedding, you may be able to set up and rehearse between 3 PM and 6 PM for an additional fee. If the day before is unavailable, access begins the day of your scheduled event.
Are the Wedding Spaces Heated or Air Conditioned?
The Firehouse and Historic Landis Valley House Hotel include both heat and air conditioning. The Yellow Barn has a propane heater available October through May. It does not have air conditioning, but ceiling fans and floor fans are included, and additional fans may be rented.

Landis Valley Village & Farm Museum
Celebrate the stories of America as we approach the nation’s 250th anniversary with the America 250 Lecture Series at Landis Valley Village & Farm Museum.
Beginning in May 2026, this engaging monthly series brings noted historians, scholars, and regional experts to Lancaster County to explore the people, culture, and events that shaped early America and our local heritage.
Held on the last Friday of each month (May–October), these programs are designed as a relaxed “Happy Hour” experience, offering:
- Engaging lectures by leading historians
- Light refreshments included
- Time for Q&A and discussion
- Opportunities to connect with fellow history enthusiasts
