As we look to the Autumn, visit Landis Valley Museum’s Hands on History Day in October and November. Your child will laugh, play, and learn what life was like for kids over a century ago. Activities are for all ages. Great idea for a day of family fun!
Hands on History Days are offered on two dates in October, the 19th and 26th, and one date in November, the 2nd. Learn a historic craft, try farm chores, and enjoy a one-room schoolhouse lesson with a Fall theme. Workshops run every 30 minutes. Reservations are only required for school groups. Homeschool families and co-ops do not need reservations.
Tickets are available at the Visitor Center the day of the event. Tickets are for one-time use only but are good for any of the Hands-on History dates (19 & 26 October and 2 November). Event is rain or shine, no refunds.
