This basket is a special reproduction of a colonial era basket used for many things but works nicely for berry picking. Done in continuous weave, with a handmade handle it is as close as we can get to the real thing!
Students need to bring: measuring tape, sharpened pencil, a brick wrapped in plastic wrap, 12 large wooden clip style clothespins, old towel, scissors, pocketknife, a small regular screwdriver, spray bottle, pail or dish pan to hold 2 gallons of water. Make sure to bring your lunch, drinks and snacks. Please wear comfortable clothes.
All sales are final. Proceeds benefit the Museum.
