Paint an 18th c. Fraktur Easter Bunny image in a 6×8 grain painted frame. At the end of the class, it will be ready to hang. The custom of the Easter rabbit and colored eggs was brought to America by immigrants from southwestern German in the 1700’s. This delightful image is attributed to Berks County schoolmaster Johann Conrad Gilbert (1734-1812) who emigrated from Germany in 1757. All supplies will be provided. No experience necessary.
